Who we are. We are The Healthcare Professional Institute – HCPI a trading name of Hear4u & Healthscreen Ltd – a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 07073880. If we have to contact you, we will send an email to the email address you provided to us when placing your order online.
Environment
The Healthcare Professional Institute are doing their part to encourage an environmentally sustainable workplace. Therefore, any resources required will be provided, unless stated on your booking confirmation. All learning materials will be available in your HCPI online learning platform, along with your certificate on completion of the course when you pay for it. Any additional paper copies of your certificate will chargeable and can be provided retrospectively. Please get in touch if this is something you require.
Payment
We offer paid and free online courses. Our online courses are easy to access, and you can study at your own pace. There is no requirement for physical attendance, and you can learn from anywhere, anytime.
However, . This payment is made via secure methods such as PayPal. Upon opting for certification, you will receive a confirmation email, an invoice, and instructions on how to make payment.
Please note: No deposit is needed to access the course material itself. Payment only applies if you choose any paid online course or to receive certification on free courses.
The prices that are quoted for online courses or certification are inclusive of 20% VAT and will be shown on your invoice.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
As our concerns are delivered online and accessible immediately, our cancellation and refund policy apply only to payments made for certificates. If you have paid for a course and wish to cancel, you may request a refund within 14 days of payment, minus a small sum of admin fee, provided you have not yet submitted assessments or received your certificate.
After this 14-day grace period or once assessments have been submitted, refunds are not available.

- Failure to cancel in writing or complete assessments will result in forfeiture of the fee
HCPI reserves the right to amend or remove online course content if necessary for technical, compliance, or quality reasons. In such cases, we aim to notify you in advance and offer alternative access, if possible.
Certification Policy
Certification is not automatic upon accessing the course. You must complete all required assessments to a satisfactory standard. Our assessors will review your work to determine if you meet the criteria for certification.
In the event that you do not pass the assessment on the first attempt, you may be offered unrestricted* opportunity to retake it.
Certificates will only be issued after:
- Successful completion of assessments &
- Full payment of the certification fee
Failure to complete either of the above will result in your certification being withheld but your course will be completed.
Refund Processing
You can request a refund within two weeks (14 days) of your original payment for single paid online course purchase.
Please note, you will not be eligible for refund:
- If more than two weeks (14 days) have passed since your original payment.
- If you have already earned a Course Certificate (for paid online courses).
- If you enrolled for free online courses but paid for certificate after course completion.
You can request a refund by sending us an email at (email), it will take 7-10 working days for the refund to be processed. Refund will be issued to the original payment method used during the purchase.
